MTN Data Plans – Mobile Telecommunication Networks popularly known as MTN boasts itself as the largest network with the highest coverage in Nigeria and Africa. They happen to be one of the South African companies that are leveraging on the market potential of Nigeria. Data these days seems like a high-selling commodity; people buy it despite economic downturns. In fact, many need to make more money.

In this piece I will be bringing you the various data packages that this telecommunication giant offers to its customers. So let’s get on with this.

MTN Daily Plans

1. 30MB Plan

This is one plan that people use just to get things done immediately and get on with life. The price used to be 10MB for N100 but now with that same amount you can get this 100MB that will last you for 24 hours. It is for your immediate data needs.

To get this package, simply dial *104# or you text 104 to 131.

2. 100MB Plan

This is another great MTN package; with just a meager sum of N200 you can have 100MB credited to you for your internet within 24 hours. To get this all you need do is to dial *113# or text 113 to 131.

MTN Weekly Plans

This weekly package has really been bumped up and better now.

1. 750MB Plan

This costs N500 and this can give you 750MB and the validity period is about 7days. Dial *103# or text 103 to 131.

MTN Monthly Plans

This happens to be the best of all the packages and they are commonly used or subscribed on the MTN network.

1. 5GB Plan

This is a very impressive one seeing where we are coming from in the usage data in Nigeria. With just a N1,000 you could get 1.5GB allocated to you for an entire month. Anyways if you are not careful or reasonable about data usage, you could finish this in a week or less.

To subscribe to this, dial *106# or text 106 to 131.

2. 5GB Plan

The previous plan sometimes might not be enough for the many data needs we have and this one can offer you more by doubling your amount. So with N2,000 you get 3.5GB data credited to your phone.

Validity period is for a month and can be gotten by dialing *110# or text 110 to 131.

3. 10GB Plan

This plan can be gotten with a sum of N5,000; though it is on a high side compared to other networks, it still offers you a huge 10GB of data to surf the internet for a month.

It will benefit small-scale businesses and entrepreneurs. This can be gotten by dialing *116# or text 116 to 131.

4. 22GB Plan

This package is definitely not for everyone even though it offers you 22GB of data to use for 30 days. This can be gotten with N10,000. Big time internet users and high profile internet users can find this reasonable.

5. 50GB Plan

This one is another huge one from MTN and can be gotten by paying N20,000 (minimum wage); so not everyone can have this. Multinationals can afford to go with this. The validity period is for 60 days and texting 118 to 131 you get this.

6. 85GB Plan

This definitely is some huge data for one to have. The validity period is 90 days and it cost N50,000 to opt-in.

Night Plans

It is interesting to know that MTN can offer you 500MB for just N25. Interesting I guess! This however is for nocturnal beings (night workers) which is open from 12am to 4am. Also one must be part of the MTN Pulse Tarrif Plan to be able to enjoy this.

To migrate to MTN Pulse, simply dial *406#.

This plan however can only be done for one night i.e. if you exhaust your 500MB for that night before 4am, you won’t be able to subscribe again for that same night.
