Once you sign up, another page will be shown to you. Here, you will be prompted to add your phone number. According to them, adding your phone number secures your account them more from unauthorized users and make login easier (You can see it written there). However, you can skip that part. When you are done adding your mobile phone number, click on “Next”.
A verification code will be sent to your cell number via sms. You are to enter the code in the space provided and click on “Verify”.
The next phrase is for you choose a username. This is the name that you will be known as on the twitter platform. Options to choose from will be provided for you. However, if you are not yet sure of what you want your username to be, you can skip that part. So whether you pick a user name on not, just click on “Next”.
You are in! You now have a brand new twitter account. Just click on “Lets Go!” to enter your interest, follow people, import your contacts, add your photo.
