Types of Amazon Credit Cards

Amazon.com offers three types of credit cards for your use.Amazon.com Store Card, Rewards Visa Card and Amazon.com Corporate Credit Line (for businesses).

These credit facilities are managed by different banks. The Amazon.com Store Card and Corporate Credit Line card are issued and maintained by the Synchrony Bank. And the Rewards Visa Card by Chase.

 Amazon.com Store Card

You can use the Amazon.com Store Card to make most purchases on amazon. With this card there is:

• A special financing on any purchase of $149 or more within a 6 month period.
• A special financing on any purchase of $599 or more within a 12 month period.
• A special financing on items within a 24 month period.
• An Equal Pay offer on select Amazon sold items within a 12 months period.
• 5 percent back to Amazon Prime members.
• No annual charges/fee.
• And a $10 gift card once your application have been approved.

However, you cannot purchase digital and print subscriptions, textbook rentals, mobile phones that are associated with a telecommunication plan, amazon subsidiaries and Digital Add-on subscriptions with your Amazon Store Card.

Amazon Rewards Visa Card

The Amazon Rewards Visa Card by Chase offers:

• 50 percent gift card once your credit card is approved.
• 3% money back at amazon.com.
• 2% money back when you use your card at drug stores, restaurants and gas stations.
• 1% money back when you make any other purchases ANYWHERE!
• No annual fees.

So far as I can tell, there are no card restrictions associated with amazon rewards visa card.

Corporate Credit Line Card

This credit card option by Synchrony bank is ideal for businesses because it offers the opportunity for an applicant place a purchase order and receives invoices. With Corporate Credit Line card, you can authorize more than one buyer on a single account. For your business structure and needs, you can choose from the two credit lines that the corporate credit line offers: Revolving Credit Line and Pay-In-Full Credit Line. However, you cannot purchase digital and print subscriptions, e-documents, games and software downloads etc.

How to Apply for Amazon Credit Card

Sign into your amazon account. You must have an amazon.com account before you can apply for the amazon credit account. If you do not have an account with amazon, click on this post: How to Create Amazon Account. Do not forget to verify your email address once you have created your amazon account. When you are done, come back here.

Once you login into your account, hover your mouse where you have your name, a drop down menu will appear. Scroll down to “Your Amazon Credit Card Accounts” and click.

You will be taken to another page where you have all the amazon credit card options. Click on the credit card you are applying for (amazon.com rewards visa card, amazon.com store card or the corporate credit line card). To apply for any of the cards click on the application links as shown in the photo below

Apply for Amazon.com Rewards Visa Card

As soon as you click on Amazon.com rewards visa card, you will be directed to a page where you can apply for the credit card. If you are a little skeptical about setting up a credit account with them, you can check out the reviews of people who have running credit services with them. Or read their offer details and terms. These should encourage you big time. Click on “Apply Now” to start your application process.

When you click on apply now, you will be taken to the application form where you will be expected to enter your full personal details, your contact information (must be a physical address in the United States of America). Click on “Continue” to move on to the next section of the process.

Next you will be taken to the page where you will be required to enter your phone number, social security number, date of birth and mother’s maiden name. Click on “Continue to Next Step”.

In the next step, you will be required to enter information about your finances, fill them in correctly and click on “Continue”.

The last page will display the terms and conditions. Read them carefully. If you agree with them, click on “I agree” and then click on “Submit”.

Apply for Amazon.com Store Card

To apply for the amazon store card, you will be taken to a page where you will be required to enter your personal details, contact address, date of birth and Annual net income. When you are done, click on “Continue to the Next step”

In the second section, you will fill in your home phone number, email address, social security number or ITIN and your mother’s maiden name. Once you are done, click on “Continue to Next Step”

In the third page, you will fill in additional information about yourself and your finances. Then you will be taken to the terms and conditions page. After clicking on “I Agree”, click on “Submit”.

Apply for Corporate Credit Line Card

When you click on the Corporate Credit Line Card link, you will be taken to a page where you will choose which of the Credit Line Card options you are applying for. You can apply for the Pay- in -Fill Credit line or the Revolving Credit line.

For whichever option you choose you will be referred to a page where you will enter your amazon account details and complete the application process. There you will be expected to give the following details: your company name and information, location, contact details, estimated monthly purchase volume, TAX ID or FEIN number, billing address, personal details. Once you have completed those details, click on “Accept and Submit” A photo sample have been shown below.

Submit Your Credit Card Application

Once you have finished filling out your credit card form, carefully read through the terms and conditions carefully and click on “I agree” at the bottom of the form and then click on “Submit”.

Wait for your Application Status

As soon as you have submitted your credit card application, you will get an approval or rejection notification within seconds and keep refreshing your email and amazon account. And you can start using your credit card immediately. All you need to do is to wait.
